Medical Imaging Informatics
What to expect
This course is aimed at residents in their 4th and 5th year of training in radiology and recently board-certified radiologists interested in Medical Imaging Informatics. It is strictly adhered to Level II of the European Training Curriculum and aims to offer theoretical training material to allow the acquisition of knowledge to process the radiological image, including structured reporting, database formats, referral guidelines, and an outlook on AI workflow orchestration in radiology.
The courses adhere to Level I and II of the European Training Curriculum and are delivered by renowned European faculty. Each session includes six topics consisting of 40 minutes of theory and case presentations followed by a live Q&A sessions.
Accreditation
An application for European CME credits (ECMEC) will be submitted to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), which is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.eu.
No CME credits will be available for watching on demand.
Learning Objectives
- To learn about the use of AI workflow orchestration and remotely operated machines
- To learn about medical data management and different databases
- To understand how NLP/LLM can help radiologists in their daily routine and assist with reporting
- To be able to assess which machine or system would be most helpful for any given task by referral to guidelines and metrics
