What to expect

The present course is focused on well-established and emerging clinical applications of Cardiac CT and Cardiac MR. The topics selected for this year’s edition include myocardial tissue characterization by means of Cardiac MR in different clinical scenarios as well as different state-of-the-art applications of Cardiac CT.

Myocardial tissue characterization in acute and chronic conditions as well as in oncologic patients will be introduced and explained by exemplary cases. Additionally, the role of Cardiac CT in acute chest pain and the potential of CT based plaque characterization will be discussed and an introduction into congenital heart disease will be provided. The ESOR foundation courses are intended to help prospective candidates to prepare for the European Diploma in Radiology examination. Attendance does not guarantee acceptance to take the examination or success in the examination but represents for sure a good basis for passing the examination successfully.

Accreditation

The course has been granted 5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).

Certificates with CME credits will be issued only after watching the live stream and completing an online evaluation form.

No CME credits will be available for watching on demand.
